Preserved black berries on the nose, dried vegetal and earthy notes, roast beef, bell peppers and soup greens, light smoky oak. Dark, tart, slightly jammy fruit on the palate, smoky, sooty, toasted oak, more dried soup greens and partly roast beef behind this, persistent and powerful, noticeable alcohol, has some depth, slightly atypical bell pepper notes again on a war, good to very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2015+. What our ratings mean
