2016 Schwarzriesling trocken Weinwerkstatt, Württemberg, Germany

Dried vegetal and earthy notes on the nose, hint of bacon, red and a few black berries, some wilted flowers. Ripe, partly preserved fruit on the palate, smoky, lightly toasted oak, hint of bacon, fine sandy tannins, light bite and grip, noticeable warm alcohol, fairly persistent, good to very good, tart finish.
