2014 Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Rather tart, slightly tobacco scent of ripe, partly preserved red and slightly black berries with dried vegetal notes, light tobacco and earthy notes, and a little parsley in the background. Tart in the mouth, more red than black fruit, with nutty and tobacco oak, earthy notes and a little astringent tannins, quite strong on the palate, not particularly deep, some bite, a hint of rubber, floral nuances, attractive finish.
