The estate is located near the municipality of Moncioni in the Italian region Tuscany, The origin is in 1700 as a dowry of a Maria Tamanti from the famous family Biondi-Santi, The company is now run by Simonetta Valiani and her husband Nicolò Magnelli. The entire property covers 18 hectares on which olive and wine growing is carried out. The approximately seven hectares of vineyards are mainly with the Sangiovese clone Brunello planted. The main quality criterion in the vineyard are low yields through what thin out and selective hand picking is achieved. After long maceration in steel tanks, the wines are aged in large oak barrels with 20 to 30 hl volume from Slavonian oak for three to five years. It will be the DOC wines Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino produced. Grappa is also produced.
