Deep and complex, somewhat nutty, tobacco and slightly undergrowthy aroma of ripe rather dark berries with a hint of plums, leather, a hint of dried tomatoes, hints of juniper and meaty tones. Taut, still rather youthful, tart, juicy dark fruit, nutty, leathery, herbal and tobacco notes, some pepper and juniper, tart nutty and smoky hints, salt in the background, present, ripe tannin, has power but also bite, lots of salt, some iodine, dense, deep and complex, very good to long finish. In great condition and still rather young.

Editor note: Astringent and firm, rather deep, somewhat tobacco-like and old-wood scent of more black than red berries with notes of dried herbs, earthy and slightly dried mushroom aromas and a hint of tar. Firm, again rather dark fruit with toasty and bitter chocolate wood aromas, coffee, tobacco and a little pepper, fine sandy, ripe tannin, persistent, lots of power, good depth, tar in the background, has grip and bite, ethereal notes, a little eucalyptus, noticeable alcohol, which blends in well with air but is very well with air, persistent, complex, very good, firm, tart, ethereal finish with salty and herbal nuances.
