2007 trocken Hillside unfiltered, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly cool, slightly tart nose, black berries, integrated, slightly smoky and spicy oak, some dried herbs in the background. Clear, juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, smoky and slightly roasted oak, fairly fine tannins, only slightly astringent, very creamy, vanilla notes, tart earthy notes in the background, hint of coffee, prominent alcohol on a good to very good finish.
