2016 Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, quite polished nose, partly preserved blackberries and a touch of cassis with earthy and dried vegetal notes. Clear, straightforward, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, light acid bite, youthful, quite fine tannins, fairly persistent, nutty notes and a touch of chocolate, hint of citrus, attractive to good, tart, fruity finish.
