2016 trocken small HILL red, Burgenland, Austria

Firm nose, cherry fruit, red and black berries, light herbaceous notes, delicate peppery spice. Ripe, fairly juicy, fairly soft, partly preserved fruit on the palate, light toasted oak, some cloves, peppery traces, sligthly sandy and slightly astringent tannins, medium body and persistence, not particularly deep, chocolate and toasted oak as well as preserved fruit on the finish.
