2016 Pays d'Oc IGP Vignes de Nicole, Languedoc, France

Clear aroma of dark berries and a little cherry with herbal and floral nuances as well as a hint of pepper and earthy hints. Ripe, juicy, quite tightly knit fruit with cocoa notes and a little herbs, fine sandy, youthful, yet predominantly friable tannin, quite persistent on the palate, lots of salt, a hint of cocoa in the background, nutty hints and hints of bacon, good to very good, juicy and spicy, very slightly drying finish
