2017 Saint-Véran AOC, Burgundy, France

Cool, polished, bright nose with fine citrus and pome fruit notes, vegetal nuances, some mussels and delicate, nutty barrel notes. Clear, polished, finely juicy, bright, cool fruit, very fine acidity and delicate grip, persistent on the palate, again delicately nutty barrel notes, a hint of redcurrants, then shells again, clear minerality, herbal flavours reminiscent of tarragon, very good, polished, finely juicy and again somewhat nutty finish with a little pesto. Very animating.
