The "Lesehof Stagård" is located in the municipality Krems-Stein in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Kremstal, The traditional business was named " Lesehof the Tegernsee "first mentioned in 1424. At this time operated here Benedictine Viticulture. In 1615 the brothers Karl from Raublingen (Germany) received the present family coat of arms from Archduke Maximilian (1558-1618). The current owner family took over the farm in 1786. After the marriage of Kenneth Stagård in 1981, the Swedish line of the house began.
