2015 Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore Rodotiglia®, Piedmont, Italy

A hint of nutty and cedar scent of black berries and cherries with moderate wood notes and a hint of mushrooms. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit, firm, fine tannins and a certain acid bite, slightly dried vegetal to herbaceous and tobacco notes, earthy and mineral notes in the background, also salty notes, persistent, firm construction, a hint of pepper, dark spice, very good, tart, juicy, firm finish with lots of draft.
