The name Valencia applies to the autonomous, Spanish Region in the Levant, one of the three provinces of this region (besides Alicante and Castellón de la Plana), for the capital (third largest city of Spain) of the province of Valencia as well as for a DO area in the central east of the Iberian peninsula.
