2016 D.O. Bierzo Altos de Losada, Castilla y León, Spain

Clear, tart and firm, surprisingly cool, polished and deep aroma of predominantly dark berries and a hint of cherries with delicate tobacco and planty notes, some herbs and fleshy nuances. Clear, firm and quite concentrated fruit, youthful, polished tannin, again slightly tobacco and planty on the palate, cocoa notes, still very delicate lactic tones, dense and persistent, peppery-spicy hints, salty minerality behind, still undeveloped, roasted aromas reminiscent of coffee, certain depth, very good, tight, juicy, spicy, herbal and salty finish.
