Developed aroma of ripe, partly preserved black berries and plums with nutty, somewhat smoky and woody flavours, a little ethereal herbs and fleshy notes. Ripe, juicy, warm fruit, nutty and restrained chocolaty wood flavours, ethereal spice on the palate, persistent, ripe, very crumbly tannins, persistent on the palate, lots of power, but also a fine acid bite, certain depth, slightly noticeable alcohol, smoky and sooty notes, some salt, very good finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Dicht gewirkt und vielschichtig in der Nase, kühle Aromen eingemachter gemischter Beeren und Kirschen mit Lorbeer- und Wacholdertönen, Kräuternoten im Hintergrund, etwas Bratenfond, Anis, Erdnuss und Kokos. Reintönige, geschliffene Frucht im Mund, etwas nussige und schokoladige Holzwürze, im Hintergrund Kräuter und wieder ein wenig Lorbeer, feinsandiges, überwiegend mürbes Tannin, nachhaltig am Gaumen, eher moderner Stil, dabei ziemlich perfekt gemacht, gewisse Tiefe, viel Schliff, sehr guter Abgang.
