2012 Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG Rubesco® "Vigna Monticchio", Umbria, Italy

Firm, somewhat tobacco, spicy and slightly dried-herbal aroma of ripe black and red berries with dried-floral nuances, nutty woody notes as well as a hint of iodine and blood. Ripe, juicy and spicy, partly preserved fruit with youthful, yet mellow tannins, some peanutty woody notes as well as a hint of herbs, pepper and dried flowers, fine, ripe tannin, delicate bite, a hint of citrus zest in the background, persistent, fine grip, some depth, chocolaty nuances, quite complex, very good, firm, juicy and again spicy finish.
