2014 Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, Umbria, Italy

Translate to English Fester, herber, tabakiger Duft nach schwarzen Beeren und ein wenig Trockenkräutern mit getrocknet-floralen Aromen sowie ein wenig Pfeffer und Teer. Reife, saftige, teils getrocknet und eingekocht wirkende, warme Frucht, deutlich gewürzige Töne, süßlicher Schmelz und merkliche Alkoholwärme, etwas Kakao und Kaffee im Hintergrund, auch angetrocknete Blutorange, gute Nachhaltigkeit, ein wenig Salz, sehr guter, etwas marmeladiger und schokoladiger Abgang mit spürbarem, sich mit Luft aber recht gut integrierendem Alkohol.
