2013 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Already a little developed, dried floral and somewhat spicy aroma of ripe red berries, some black berries, a little liquorice and pomegranate with herbal nuances and aromas reminiscent of mixed pickles. Ripe, relatively dark fruit with cocoa notes, some liquorice and nutty tones, fine sandy, still slightly drying tannin, some warmth and melting, a hint of coffee, hints of salt, earthy and vegetal hints, noticeable roasting, very good finish with preserved fruit, chocolate and coffee
