2004 Pommard Premier Cru AOC Clos Micault, Burgundy, France

Partly dried and partly preserved red and some black berries on the nose, mienral notes and a hint of black olives, spicy oak and some resinous notes. Quite firm on the palate, red and black berry fruit, malted notes, roasted oak, some cardamom, medium-fine tannins, fairly persistent, mienral notes, slightly astringent on an attractive to good finish.
