Somewhat vegetal, earthy and slightly bacony nose of black berries with mushroomy notes and a hint of pepper. Black and red fruit in the mouth, peppery-spicy and nutty tones, some coffee, dried vegetal flavours in the background, crumbly-sandy tannin, lots of alcohol, rather rustic style, old woody tones, a touch of bacon, good substance, good, slightly drying, again alcoholic finish with some compote fruit. Seems slightly overdone
