2017 Vacqueyras AOC "Laurus", Rhône, France

A trace of developed, slightly dried floral and herbal scent of ripe mixed berries, some cherries, tobacco and liquorice with earthy and peppery notes. Powerful in the mouth, dark fruit with tobacco, earthy and somewhat peppery notes, dried herbs in the background, chocolaty aromas, a hint of bacon, fine sandy tannin, tart nutty tones on the palate, plenty of alcohol, slightly rustic style, some persistence, good finish.
