1987 Côte Rôtie AOC La Landonne, Rhône, France

Tremendous depth on the nose, ripe cherries and plums, citrus fruit, spices and minerals, roasted oak. Concentrated and full-bodied on the palate, more roasted oak, vanilla, fine tannins, mineral notes, light citrus notes, very creamy, very firm structure, tremendous depth, vibrant, noticeable oak on the very long finish. Incredibly fresh for the vintage, and by no means at the end of its development.
