Firm, rather tart nose, some tobacco and nutty notes of ripe, partly preserved red and black berries, some cherry notes, some dried herbs of Provence and some blood. Ripe, full-bodied, very juicy and slightly warm fruit on the palate, herbaceous, spicy and slightly chocolaty notes, youthful, mature, sandy tannins, persistent and powerful on the palate, salty mineral notes in the background, good depth, still very young, a touch of orange zest, very noticeable good to long, again very juicy, also somewhat spicy and herbaceous finish with cocoa notes, some mushrooms and on the one hand a lot of warmth, but also freshness.

Best to drink: Mitte 2019 bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
