2017 Chianti Classico DOCG "Ceppeto", Tuscany, Italy

Lightly dried vegetable to herbaceous scent of cherries and rather dark berries with earthy notes and a hint of spice bread. Strong and a bit rustic in the mouth, again a bit spicy, partly preserved, dark fruit with woody and a bit sooty notes, on the palate also coffee and nutty tones, slightly sandy and drying tannin, a lot of power and some warmth, good persistence, a touch of gum, good to very good finish.
