2014 Barolo DOCG Brunate, Piedmont, Italy

Partly dried flowers on the nose, lively nose with predominantly red berries and some pomegranate, very elegant herbaceous and spicy traces. Clear, tart fruit on the palate, nutty aromas, licorice and cocoa, fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, medium body, some tar in the background, more light spicy notes, some cola nut, good persistence and depth, hint of coffee, salty traces, light acid bite, partly dried flowers, very good, slightly warm finish with red fruit, more spicy notes and licorice.
