Barolo DOCG Chinato, Piedmont, Italy

Prominent spicy oak on the nose, floral notes and quinine bark, partly dried red berries, some tobaccoe, prominent sugar candy, hint of caramel. Quite sweet on the one hand, but also has very prominent aromatic bitter notes on the palate, more quinine bark, some dried flowers, tart sweetish spice, presereved and dried red fruit, persistent, fairly prominent, elegant acidity, almost racy tannins, very full-bodied with noticeable alcohol, has some depth, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2025+. What our ratings mean
