2007 Côtes du Roussillon-Villages AOC Carerades, Roussillon, France

Preserved cherries and black berries on the nose, prominent mineral notes, dried flowers, some licorice and bread spices, malted traces, light smoky and roasted notes. Concentrated and juicy on the palate, creamy, very ripe fruit, sweetish roasted oak, fairly fine tannins, very full-bodied and creamy, fairly soft style, alcohol quite well integrated, very good persistence and has some depth, juicy siwth some sweetish spicy oak on a very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2016+. What our ratings mean
