2016 Côtes du Roussillon AOP, Roussillon, France

Slightly vegetal nose with subdued yellow fruit aromas and a touch of Provence herbs. Ripe, restrained, slightly creamy and warm fruit, delicate nutty, floral and herbaceous notes, good persistence, nutty and very slightly smoky aromas, has some strength and substance, still youthful, delicate spicy traces, mineral traces in the background, very good finish with implied honey.
