1999 V.T. Castilla y León Vendimia Seleccionada, Castilla y León, Spain

Dark garnet to cherry red. Lots of fresh oak on the nose, coconut and vanilla, also ripe cherry and berry fruit. Juicy fruit on the palate, very modern style with lots of new oak and sweetish roasted aromas, more cocnut and vanilla, lots of fine tannins, still very slightly astringent, appears youthful, concentrated, has substance, firm structure, fruit develops with some aeration, long finish.
