2004 Barolo DOCG Vigneto Arborina, Piedmont, Italy

Clear nose, red berries and slightly tart cherries, delicate hints of blueberries and cassis, some blood orange, light buttery notes, floral, herbaceous and mineral traces. Cool and quite juicy on the palate, predominantly red fruit, sweetish roasted oak, fine sandy tannins, sweetish and creamy, elegant acid bite, still young, gains in depth with aeration and becomes more charming, very good finish.
