2012 Barolo DOCG Gattera, Piedmont, Italy

Translate to English Fester und überraschend kühler, kandiert-nussiger Duft nach roten und etwas schwarzen Beeren mit tabakigen und ein wenig holzigen Noten, angedeutet Trockenkräutern, einer Spur Jod und mineralischen Anklängen. Recht fest im Mund, deutlich holzwürzig, nussig und etwas tabakig, reife, teils angetrocknete Frucht, präsente Tannine, ein Hauch Kakao im Hintergrund, getrocknete Kräuter und erdige bis mineralische Töne, nachhaltig, noch jung, gewisse Tiefe, relativ kühl, sehr guter Abgang mit einem Hauch gerösteten Paprikas.
