2016 Maximin Grünhaus Herrenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Fairly expressive, deep, firm nose, prominent yeasty and herbaceous notes, ripe citrus and stone fruit, whiff of red and green berries, intense mineral notes. Firm, tremendously juicy, fairly cool fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty and herbaceous notes, lively acidity, fine, ripe tannins provide noticeable grip, persistent, intense mineral notes, develops vegetal notes with aeration, firm grip and bite, still young, good depth, dark mineral notes, clear contours, very good juicy, grippy finish. Give it time to mature.
