2018 Maximin Grünhaus Riesling VDP.Gutswein trocken "Monopol", Mosel, Germany

Firm nose, prominent yeasty notes, still reductive, prominent mineral notes, yellow fruit, some black berries, hint of green berries, floral notes, hint of tobacco and earthy notes. Firmly structured, juicy, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, lively acidity, ripe tannins provide grip, yeasty notes, persistent, hint of black berries, floral traces, prominent earthy and salty mineral notes, some depth, still very young, peppery notes on a very good, juicy, tart, spicy, slightly sweetish and very minerally finish.
