2012 P.G.I. Letrina trocken Domaine Mercouri Cava, Peloponnese / Πελοπóννησος, Greece

Earthy, tobacco and woody nose, black berries and a hint of plums, dried herbs, dark chocolate and some Russian bread. Firm, tart and juicy fruit on the palate, some roasted, nutty and chocolaty oak, herbaceous notes and a refreshing acid bite, a hint of citrus on the palate, fairly prominent, elegant tannins, persistent and firm on the palate, some depth, still little developed, floral nuances, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with mineral notes.
