2004 Venezia Giulia IGT Peng, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Red berries on the nose, light animal notes, roasted notes and undergrowth. Fairly light-bodied, cool style, delicately tart preserved berry fruit on the palate, straightforward and clear, delicate hint of chocolate, polished with herbaceous notes, modrate, very fine-grained tannins, well made in a modern style, attractive to good finish.
