2005 Friuli Latisana DOC Ùepasse, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Austere oak and some cedary notes on a muted nose, dried yellow fruit, nutty notes and bread. Refreshing on the palate, fairly mature, roasted nuts, dark bread crusts, slightly bitter notes of carob, some molasses, dried yellow fruit and dried herbs, sweet exotic spicy aromas, polished acidity provides structure and backbone, fairly juicy, light mineral traces, good long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2018+. What our ratings mean
