2003 Vacqueyras AOC Clos Montirius, Rhône, France

Fairly mature nose, earthy notes, well-hung raw meat and some spicy traces. Fairly mature again on the palate, partly dried mixed berries and some plums, roasted notes, fairly prominent, fine, slightly astringent tannins, good persistence, very creamy and full-bodied, good to very good finish. Has shown a good development.
