2004 Vacqueyras AOC Garrigues, Rhône, France

Delicate tart nose with sour cherries and mixed berries, mineral traces. Fairly cool on the palate, elegant fruit and delicate spice, medium-fine, very slightly astringent tannins, very light notes of cedar wood in the background, polished, appears lighter than it really is, not particularly deep, but very well made, attractive to good finish.
