Somewhat muted, slightly earthy and vegetal, also a hint of malty, partly dried dark fruit with light animal, woody and mushroom notes. Tart, juicy, firm fruit with vegetal, woody, earthy and slightly floral tones, dusty, yet slightly astringent tannins, lots of strength and alcohol, light acid bite, first covered and bitter on the palate, rustic-looking, with lots of air but then significantly more polished and harmonious, salt in the background, also peppery spice, firm, tart, juicy, peppery-spicy finish. At first it looks quite rough and uncharming and takes almost 2 days to show what it can do.
