2011 Petit Verdot-Rebo trocken, Agean, Turkey

Slightly nutty nose, dried vegetal, earthy and leathery notes, partly preserved black berries and some sour cherries, licorice and a hint of pomegranate. Clear, straightforward and fairly juicy dark fruit on the palate, light acid bite, fairly fine tannins, hint of pomegranate, toasted traces, some licorice and dark chocolate, good persistence, herbaceous traces, not particularly deep, but still young, some bite on a good to very good, fairly juicy and spicy finish.
