Editor note: Light nutty notes on the nose, dried flowers, dried yellow fruit, yellow spice, light vegetal and earthy notes, hint of caramel. Very sweet, creamy, concentrated fruit on the palate, candied nuts, yellow spice, very elegant acidity, touch of caramel and honey, delicate waxy notes, hint of tobacco, persistent, good depth, fairly tranquil style, lots of dried yellow fruit on a long, creamy, sweet and spicy finish.
Best to drink: To 2050+

In Austria, viticulture has been practised since the time of the Celtic settlement almost 3,000 years ago. The Burgenland community of Zagersdorf and the Lower Austrian community of Stillfried in the Weinviertel are considered the oldest winegrowing communities in Austria. In both places grape seeds were found which date from 700 and 900 BC respectively and can be clearly assigned to the species Vitis vinifera.
