2005 Piesport Goldtröpfchen Riesling Spätlese, Mosel, Germany

Aged, a hint of caramel aroma of partly candied stone and pome fruits with herbal-vegetal and earthy notes as well as a hint of dark berries. Soft and sweet in the mouth, somewhat developed fruit with slightly vegetal and earthy tones, delicate caramel notes on the palate, calm acidity, not too deep but somewhat persistent, just lacking a little tension by now, decent finish.
