2008 Amarone della Valpolicella DOC senza titolo, Veneto, Italy

Somewhat developed, dried-floral and slightly spicy scent of partly preserved and dried mixed berries with a little pickled cherries and cocoa. Ripe, again preserved and dried looking, noticeably sweet fruit with spicy aromas, a little cocoa and jammy tones, lots of warm alcohol, mature tannins, good substance and persistence, some depth, relatively complex, very good, sweetish and alcoholic finish, again with Cocoa Noters.
