Sooty oak on the nose, earthy notes and some dried mushrooms, black berries and a few cherries, hint of bacon, some dried herbs. Tart, partly dried dark fruit on the palate, sooty, toasted oak, peppery notes and dried herbs, fairly prominent, slightly sandy and astringent tannins, good substance and persistence, noticeable high alcohol, light salty notes in the background, smoky traces, hint of tobacco, firm structure, some grip, tart, juicy alcoholic finish with some toasted notes..
