The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The champagne house was founded in 1976 by the brothers Feuillatte, who had made their money as beverage dealers and coffee importers. They acquired a 12 hectare vineyard in Bouleuse near Reims, the first brand was created "Brut Réserve Particulière". From the 1980s, there was a cooperation with the vintners' association CVC (Center Vinicole de la Champagne), which acquired in 1986 the brand Nicolas Feuillatte. Later it was renamed CV-CNF (Center Vinicole - Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte). The Cooperative Association based in Chouilly today comprises 83 member cooperatives with over 5,000 winegrowers, who manage about 2,200 hectares of vineyards.

The manufacturing process for the champagne runs fully automated with temperature controlled fermentation tanks made of stainless steel with over 300,000 hectoliters capacity, precision vibrating systems with Gyropaletten, automated Degorgierverfahren and very fast bottle equipment lines. The storage capacity is 100 million bottles. The large product range is produced under the two brand names "Nicolas Feuillatte" and "Palmes d'Or". The malolactic fermentation is practiced throughout the range. For the assemblage There are more than 150 Cru wines available. The wines mature around 30 months for the vintage blends and five years for the Millésime (Vintage champagne). The Cuvée de Prestige, the top product of the house is "Palmes d'Or Brut Vintage". In 2011, 9.6 million bottles of champagne were sold, of which 40% were exported to around 70 countries. Within 35 years, a place among the top five was achieved.
