2016 Valpolicella Classico DOC, Veneto, Italy

Light herbaceous notes and a delicate hint of tobaco on the nose, predominantly black and a few red berries and cherries, hint of violets. Clear, polished, tart, juicy and fairly firm fruit on the palate, lively acidity, youthful, fine tannins, vegetal and herbaceous traces, hint of tobacco, hint of bacon, good persistence, some grip, good to very good tart, juicy finish.
