Quite complex nose with ripe cherries and black berries, notes of cedar wood, some herbs and dark roasted notes reminiscent of coal. Fairly tart and cool in the mouth, smoky and roasted notes, but also has quite concentrated, firm dark fruit, persistent on the palate, slightly astringent tannins, appears youthful, good depth and a good long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2010+. What our ratings mean
