Ruby Dum, Douro, Portugal

Preserved and partly candied mixed berries and cherries on the nose, prominent vegetal notes, slightly sharp with rather noticeable alcohol, light earthy traces and some bread. Full-bodied on the palate, quite juicy and sweet, noticeable alcohol, prominent caramel and sugar candy, fairly persistent, fine, mature tannins, not particularly deep, good to very good finish.
