2017 Riesling Spätlese trocken Alte Reben, Mosel, Germany

Fairly firm, herbal-citrus-stone fruit fragrance with delicate floral notes and relatively dark-looking minerality. Sweetish, quite firm fruit with prominent vegetal and also slightly floral notes, some lemony on the palate, metallic traces and salt, again some dark mineral notes, very slightly nutty, good substance and persistence, hint of dark berries, candies in the background, still young, very good, again sweetish and tart finish. Must still mature.
