The "Hubertushof Ökoweingut" is located in the municipality of Lieser (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle, The Hubertus statue as a trademark of the company dates from 1901. A guest house is attached to the winery. In 1978 Hermann Botzet took over the business from his father and switched from barrel wine to bottled wine sales. In the 1980s, the winery became a pioneer in the processing of red wine grapes with thermal vinification and red wine production. The company is run today by Hermann-Josef Botzet, his wife Maria and son Hubert after training in the State winegrowing domain Trier managed as a cellar master. The vineyards cover almost ten hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Niedernberg heroes and Rosenlay (Lieser), and sundial (Maring-Noviand). The white varieties Riesling, Kerner, Pinot Blanc and Müller-Thurgau, as well as the red varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Black Riesling and Domina are cultivated.
