The "Hubertushof Ökoweingut" is located in the municipality of Lieser (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle, The Hubertus statue as a trademark of the company dates from 1901. A guest house is attached to the winery. In 1978 Hermann Botzet took over the business from his father and switched from barrel wine to bottled wine sales. In the 1980s, the winery became a pioneer in the processing of red wine grapes with thermal vinification and red wine production. The company is run today by Hermann-Josef Botzet, his wife Maria and son Hubert after training in the State winegrowing domain Trier managed as a cellar master. The vineyards cover almost ten hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Niedernberg heroes and Rosenlay (Lieser), and sundial (Maring-Noviand). The white varieties Riesling, Kerner, Pinot Blanc and Müller-Thurgau, as well as the red varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Black Riesling and Domina are cultivated.

In 2007 the changeover to Organic viticulture according to the guidelines of the association ECOVIN, The cultivation is characterized by intensive manual work with foliage and soil cultivation, vine care and processing of the grapes. It is based on the use of chemical synthetic pesticides such as herbicides. insecticides and others pesticides, as well as no genetic engineering. The preservation of the biodiversity of plants, insects, birds and other beneficial organisms is promoted as far as possible by sowing green clover in winter, wolf mix (flowering plants) in spring and rapeseed. The fertilization takes place with herbal and mineral preparations such as compost, Quality criteria are low yields and careful processing. Partly there is one spontaneous fermentation, The premium wines include "Hubertushof Prestige Auslese sweet" (Riesling). Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, brandies (pomace, grape, Williams pear) and sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the ecological association ECOVIN,
